Buyer did not show up for closing

Loan was approved all inspections done. Day of closing Womans older son called and said she was not closing because she did not remember signing papers and she has alzhimers and he has power of attorney.What recourse do we have in the State of Ill

You can sue to enforce the deal, but if the lady lacked the mental capacity to enter into a contract, then you will not get far with this claim. However, take your paperwork and find an attorney in your area to look everything over for you.
