Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

Change Real Estate Deed Name from Joint Ownership

My mother and father jointly owned a house with the deed in showing as joint ownership with rights of survival. My father died, and my mother wants to change the deed to her name in joint ownership with rights of survival with her son.

She does not want to sell the property in order to change the names. Since my father died, the ownership transfer to her automatically. So she is technically the surviving owner. She wants to change the name to show herself and her son as joint owners with rights of survival.
