Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

condo

My son put a deposit on a loft style condo in Chicago. The model was shown in another location with an exposed brick wall--which is why he purchased this particular model. The wall was covered over without informing him. The builders say they can no longer expose the brick. Is he still responsible for the purchase of this condo
