Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

Condominums

I live in Illinois. If a condo association is having a problem with an owner - the owner may sue. Can here be or is there automatically a gga rule imposed on board members, that is no conversation by board members outside of the board on this matter. Nothing about this in the docments and rules of the association So, is that correct - no comments are allowed by board members except with fellow board members ?
