Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

contract for deed/dead seller

I ahve CFD with aunt, she passed away and one of her daughters is trying to evict me from my home she says belongs to her. Exec of Est says she cant but sheriff is serving me with evict notice...My contract note is caught up and paid up to date on 38 of 40K, can I lose the house to her after paying all this money....My understanding is she wasnt listed to get this house PERIOD and Exec of Est say just pay off the bank that has the deed like I have been since 1996 and they will release the deed to ME, but sheriff is serving me notice SHE wants her house back cause I missed a payment or two during the contract over the last 11 years...I am confused and have nothing in writing yet from Exec of Est...but my contract and my name on the taxes for the house...I dont see her daughters name on any of these papers anywhere other than her notice telling me to evacuate HER premises....????????

Re: contract for deed/dead seller

You could lose the house if you did not make the payments up, although it is unclear to me how the daughter can be suing if there is an executor of the estate.. However, it is not likely that she will win in court if she does have standing to sue.. You need to see an attorney asap.
