Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

Five day or 90 day evictions

Short question, is their any way to get more than 5 days when someone is evicted from their apartment? I was told that when evicted you have 90 days to move but someone else told me that you are only given 5 days to move. Who is correct?

Re: Five day or 90 day evictions

Never heard of a 90 day eviction. If you don't pay the full amount of rent when it is due, the landlord can serve you with a 5 day notice. If you don't pay the full amount within the 5 days, the landlord can begin eviction proceedings.
