Deed To Property

I have 80 acres in Illinois that myself and two other

individuals purshased.There is 3 names on the bank note.

My name and my wifes name is the only names on the real estate taxes and we have paid the taxs for the last 5

years. If I paid the note off myself at the bank. Would

I be able to get the deed legally in me and my wifes name

only.

The note is irrelevant to title to the property -if the deed that is recorded in your county has only your wife and your names on it, then the property is already yours, despite whose name is on the note. The deed rules, NOT the note.
