Can I transfer a deed from my daughter's name to my name without using a lawyer. I bought her house and now I want the deed in my name.

Hi. Yes, you can do this
without a lawyer, but I
would definitely not advise
it. The law today is technical and since you do
not do this everyday,
a non-lawyer can make a
mistake that does not have
to be made.... if they will
only get a lawyer. I suggests
that you play it safe and
have a legal eye see that
the title transfer is free
and clear.
