Election of Board Member

What happends when there is a tie vote? There are six units we voted for Secretary today to fill vacancy, 3 voted for one member 3 voted for second member. The two board members are split. What happends now?

This is probably addressed in your association docs, although I'm not sure offhand if it would be in the by-laws or the declaration (probably the declaration). So the answer is probably there. Good luck!
