Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

Eviction of brother

My brother lives with my mom, he does not pay rent. He has lived there for 9 years. He does not work nor does he contribute to the house in any way. Mom suffers from dementia and we will need to sell the house and put her in a facility. The property is free and clear and in trust with mom being the sole beneficiary. My sister and I have POA over mom. Any money from the sale of the house will go for the care of mom. How do we get brother out of the house. Would we need to go thru the eviction process?

Re: Eviction of brother

Yes, you will have to evict him if he won't leave voluntarily.
