Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

Eviction

I have a month to month residential tenant in Illinois that cannot pay rent. She has offered to attempt a payment plan and pay $200.immediately of the $900.due, and to pay the balance of January's rent with her instant tax return. She has an adult child that lives with her. What are my legal options to evict? She has no job at present so I fear that the problem will be on going.

Re: Eviction

if the tenant does not pay all the rent every month you have the right to evict her. You have to follow certain legal steps but the bottom line is that if the rent isnt paid you can evict.

Re: Eviction

You have a right to evict. Serve a five day notice to quit, then get in court and get a judgment and a specific date when the sheriffs will come to evict.
