Generally how long does an eviction stay on your credit report or those tenant screening companies?

Generally, things stay on your credit report for 7 years - if you contest something on your report, the person who initially reported it must respond to the credit reporting agency within 30 days - if they do not, the credit agency will usually remove it.

The easiest answer is that the older the eviction is on your credit report, the easier it is to remove.
