Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

My ex-wife and I had a vacation timeshare. Neither of us want it. Both of our names are on it. How can we get rid of this?? Nobody will buy it. Its a monthly payment and a maintenance fee yearly. It's just too much money. Is there any way possible to get out from underneath this?

You need to consult with an attorney who can review the timeshare documents. That may be where your remedies and liabilities should be contained.
