Fiance and I want to buy a house

He is putting a $50k down payment and therefore does not want me on the deed. I will be paying for half of all bills though. Can I still be on the deed but have a separate contract drawn stating he gets his $50k back if anything should happen between us and then we split the remaining equity?

Sure, why not? Just make sure you have your agreement reviewed by an attorney to make sure it does what you want it to do and you are protected.

Yes; it would be in the nature of a pre-nuptial agreement.
