Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

filing petition

I have a partner who has been involved in a real estate deal two years ago. She has not paid any money to the company to assist with the bills. She has since threatened to file a petition against me because I have been paying the bills and now we have just sold the property. She feels she is entitled to the bank statements and books but hasnt paid a dime...Does she have any legal right to file a petition when she has all the bank statements and documents such at tax returns? Please advise
