Forced to purchase home

My boyfriend and myself signed a contract to purchase a home base on the contingencie that we sell our home .. Our loan was approved based ton the sale of our home with the pay off to the lender .. Our Broker failed to notify the seller that we did not sell our home within the 30 days that were contracted. The seller's Broker is now telling my attorney that we are forced to purchase home .. Is this true ?

It would depend on the terms of your agreement. You should be asking your attorney this question, and he or she should not be swayed by the broker's opinion.
