Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

I have a friend (ex-friend) who still has a set of my house keys and with previous attempts to get them back he has been ignoring my request. Is there anything I can do legal to get these back?

Absolutely, change the locks or get the locks rekeyed. Even if you get your keys back, how do you know he has not made a copy?
