Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois
I have a friend her father has past and he left her a home in New York and the lawyer and the fathers brothers are on this will and they want the daughter to sign of but they have not been in contact with her for 25 years what can she do

You will need to contact someone with NY probate law experience. From the sound of it, they just don't want any trouble, but there could be some legal requirement when a direct descendant (daughter) is left out of a will.
