Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois
Hello
I signed a lease for an apartment in the state of IL on 1/25. I noticed there is an issue with ants. LOTS OF ANTS and it is January. It is not ants in the kitchen but in drains and in closets and coming out of floor boards. Can I get out of my lease?

Did you move in? It may depend on the community, but the Illinois Residential Tenant Right to Repair Act may be your remedy if you've already moved in. Proving fraud and moving out could become a bigger headache. See a local attorney for help.
