Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

The home I have been living in for 5 years was financed by my mother. The loan was approved for a loan modification which the trial payments were made for Jan 2010 thru May 2010 When I sent in the payment for June of 2010 the Principle amount of the payment was returned to me and the mortgage company said the modification was denied because of a tax form that had not been returned by my mother (which it had been) She passed away April 13th 2010 The home she willed to me. It is currently in loss mitigation (pending review of a modification or what my options are as the heir to this estate) There was a court date for 11/15/2010 with Pierce and Associates for motion of judgement. I have spoken to the mortgage company who says they are still reviewing have been since August they say although I contacted them immediately upon my mothers death and I spoke with the attorneys handling the foreclosure today and that court date in november has been rescheduled for Jan 10th 2011 because they didnt have all the documents from the mortgage company. I dont know what my right is or even what is going on. Its a big mess. any advise

I suggest that you speak with an attorney in person immediately. Your situation is too complex for this forum.
