Home Owners Association Law in IL

How do we stop a builder from mis-managing our HOA (IL)? The declaration was recorded over three years ago, yet the builder still has complete control, and keeps raising assessments and cutting services. Can we do anything about this?

If you are sure that your declaration was recorded over three years ago then the unit owners can take over management by calling a meeting. Consult an attorney regarding the process.
