Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois
My husband and I bought a home in Illinois. He put me on the mortgage, but not on the deed. Now we are divorcing and I think he may try to keep me from getting any benefit from the sale. Someone told me that to sell, my signature is needed as we are still married, but not sure if that's true or what I can do. Thank you .... I am now living out of state.

You will need to "waive homestead" but you need an attorney. Hire one.
