Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois
Illinois Professional License
My sister has had a real estate license for 10 years. When she originally filled out the application she put down that she was a high school graduate, however she is not. What is the penalty if she is ever caught for this lie.

Re: Illinois Professional License
See 225 ILCS 454/20-20(a), which is part of the Illinois real estate licensing law. It says the state may refuse to renew a license, suspend it, etc. or impose a fine of up to $25,000 for fraud, etc. That's probably VERY unlikely though.
