Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

Landlord charged me for Cam and taxes on vacant land because he added tax id to my lease and I did not catch it for 5 years. I tried to reason to no avail. I stopped paying rent and owe for five months while fighting. I now found a buyer for the business and landlord will not sign new lease unless I pay in full and sign that I am dropping the countersuit. Seems like extortion to me.. My lease now expired Jan 1 and I am holding over. I need to sell the business but cant without a lease for the buyer. Cant get a lease without paying landlord in full and giving a release. I do that and I am out the 50K he overcharged me... Help ??? Any ideas for me ? I am in deep doo do.. Emergency hearing Thursday and my atty is of no help...

Since you had an attorney, we could not intercede and all you could do was either allow your attorney to proceed or to replace him/her, and we can not solicit for replacements as such.
