Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois
Our landlord will not fix anything in our home we are renting and we have bats coming into the house. I have 3 childern, leaks, bats flying in thru the holes in the outside trim coming in thru the walls upstairs. we have told the landlord numerioustimes of these problems andhe says move out then and that we can't do anything to make him make the repairs. what can we do? We have a 7 month old and have had bats in his crib.

You really should look into moving and in the meantime file a complaint with the local health department. They may be able to do things much quicker that a court can, and it wont cost you anything. Good luck.
