lease of residence
I have 9 months left on a 2-yr lease. Lost job, no longer able to pay. Advised landlord that I would move out and will try to help find tenant. I have no income. What are my options?

You are obligated on the lease until an acceptable new tenant is found. It sounds like you are doing what you can.
If things get real bad, and you can not find a new tenant or a job, you may need to consider bankruptcy down the line.

My recommendation is to file a bankruptcy as soon as possible. This will terminate your obligations under the lease. Before filing bankruptcy, try working something out with the landlord, no need to file bankruptcy if the landlord will work with you.
