Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

lender wont pay

The building i live in is marked as 'to be apportationed' in terms of the tax payment. As a result the lender of my mortgage is refusing to pay the recent tax bill from the escrow account. What can i do?

Re: lender wont pay

I assume you bought a condo and you don't have a separate tax bill yet?? Did you get a proration letter at closing?? There are a few variables here, so you need to talk to a lawyer to figure this out. Good Luck!
