what is my liability when posting beware of dog signs on my fence?

Not getting your mail, not getting deliveries....what else? Ummm, such signs are irrelevant because nobody would know what to be aware of. So anyone with a right to come on your property (meter readers.....US postal letter carriers) may have rights of action against you if the dog attacks them.
