Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

I have been with a man for 32 plus years, but never married. We have 3 children, with one left in college and have a home together. Our relationship is ending and I don't know what my options are regarding the home which is titled in both our names. The mortgage was a 15 yr mortgage and we are into the 8th year on that. Please advise me on some options so I know where to begin.

either you buy him out, he buys you out or you partition the property in court.

Another alternative is to sell the house and divide the proceeds. You may want to post this in family law, also.
