Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

If any mistakes are made on legal documents, such as listing the wrong county will that void the document? Also, if the paperwork I received at closing was not signed and had partially wrong documents(someone else's) will that Void the loan documents? Two years after releasing the property to the mortgage company they are trying to come after the balance of the loan.

A typographical error generally would not be sufficient to void a contract. It would require a review of your agreement with the lender to advise you. It sounds like you gave them a deed in lieu of foreclosure. In some cases, the lender is entitled to collect any shortfall when given a deed in lieu of foreclosure.
