Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

We're trying to modify our home, but they told us we needed to fill out a Response to the Summary Judgment for the foreclosure proceedings. Where do we get this paperwork? Is it in the law library at our county courthouse?

Responses to summary judgment generally drafted motions. McHenry County may have foreclosure assistance available at the court house, but if they don't, I recommend you find a private attorney near you who will be willing to charge you for just drafting a motion.

You are in either Lake or McHenry county. There may be a Legal Aid office in your county of residence to help. The requirement is that you answer (deny or admit) each allegation in the Motion for Summary Judgment. Good Luck!
