Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

Took out second mortage. Mortgage company took out insurance on me.I became permanently and totaly service disabled.insurance co paid mortgage off then put lean on my home for amount they paid out.can I have it removed?-do I have any resource? Thanx homebound navy get.
