Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois
If my neigbor's well is on my property doesn't he owe me some sort of rent or access fee??

Not necessarily. Perhaps there is an easement, in which case, the terms of the easement would control.
How'd it get there and how long has it been there? Mistake? Long time? Is there a conflict in surveys? Long enough and there may be adverse possession???? As Mr. Moens says is there an easement right somewhere in the chain of title? We need more info.
