Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

If a neighbor does something just inside my property line, such as planting bushes or trees, can this create a problem for me, in terms of my property ownership and rights?

If he plants something inside his property line, and it starts growing over onto my property, such as a tree or bushes, can I cut the portions growing over/onto my property?

It could create a problem for you in terms of your property rights unless you take steps to prove to your neighbor that he is planting on your property and that you want him to stop.

If he plants something on his property and part of it grows over you can trim it.
