Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

I am I obligated to pay city fines for a property that has been foreclosed on? The property had a sale date for February 2009. Also I surrendered the property when I filed bankruptcy in December 2008. The property is vacant.

Yes, you do not get a discharge on the fines.

I differ with my Brother Joseph. I believe that this debt is discharged. Especially true if you included same in your schedules.
