ownership of contents of purchased home?

A friend of mine purchased a home in Illinois in 2001 and later found what appear to be original blue prints for one of the ''communities'' for the 1933 Worlds Fair. He's thinking these might be fairly valuable and needs to know if these are legally his to do with as he pleases?

Appears your friend may have won a lottery if the prints are valuable. Let me know if your "friend" needs help with the estate planning resulting from the anticipated sale.

Your friend is pretty safe claiming ownership of these prints. Those would appear to have been abandoned long ago. Good luck!
