Who Owns It?

My grandparents bought a house and put my mother on the title. my grandparents and my mother are both dead now. There was no will. My uncle says he owns the house. I say I own The house

You didn't say where the house is located, i.e., what county. I'd like to know that. Despite there being no will, I would opine that an estate case would have to be filed. You need to consult with a lawyer. Don't believe your uncle. Good Luck.

If your mother was a joint owner on the house, and your grandparents pre-deceased her, the short answer is that you own the house. You are your mother's heir. Not your uncle. It all depends on whether it was joint ownership, and who was the last survivor. Please seek the advice of an attorney in the county you live in.
