Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois
power company
My husband and I are in the process of selling 19 acres in Carroll County. We assumed that the power company had an easement for the power lines running through the property. The buyer discovered that the power company does not have an easement nor are they interested in moving the lines. What recourse do we have?

Re: power company
There might be an easement in gross. I suggest that you contact a local real estate attorney to perform a more thorough inquiry Good luck.
