Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois
Privacy rights
I usually stay at my girlfriends apartment on Tuesday and Saturday nights to compliment shorter drives to school and church. Yesterday my girlfriend gets a call from her landlord saying I can no longer stay at her apartment. Her excuse was she was forseeing a water drainage problem. All the time the neighbors next door have had people stay at their apartment, sometimes up to a month. My girlfriend and her roomates always pay their rent on time and never create a disturbance. So I was wondering what can my girlfriend do, can she break the lease, and does the landlord have the right to do this?

Re: Privacy rights
A water drainage problem? What does this mean? Is this code for something? I'm sorry, but this rationale can't possibly support an eviction.
