property

my husband purchase 2 vehicle during our marriage his name only, and one apartment building and one house his name only. my name is on the personal loan for the apartment building, but the deeds sates married man, not homestead property. I am entire to half any of the above property. note. the car I drive the title only state my husband name. we live in illinois.

Hello. The property that was purchased during your marriage is considered marital property. In other words, it belongs to both you and your husband. If you and he divorce, you are entitled to at least 1/2 of all the property that was purchased during the marriage. It does not matter whose name is on the property.
