When you purchase a real estate tax certificate you have 4 mths from which date(the date of sale or the date of the certificate of purchase) can i acess section 21-145 and21-260 of illinios property tax code .

You have 4 months, 15 days from the date of sale, not the date on your certificate or when you receive your certificate. Illinois' statutes can be found at 35 ILCS 200/ which is located at www.ilga.gov/legislation/ilcs/ilcs2.asp?ChapterID=8
