Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

I am purchassing a REO home in Naperville, Il. everthing is all set except Will County has not signed off on the deed. How can I speed things up. I had a closing date two weeks ago and it never happened.

There are so many acronyms out there today...what do you mean by "REO". That said, how does Will county "sign off on the deed"? Is this county owned property?? Sorry, I've only been doing this work for more than 30 years....it would appear to me that you left out more than a few salient facts.
