Quit Claim Deed
It is true that even thought your husband signs a QuitClaim Deed over to spouse, and during divorce, the judge can award him with half the equity of the marital property when the house is sold.

I'd have to know a lot more to answer that question, but it's really something for a divorce attorney to look at anyway.
