Quitclaim Deed

We live in IL and my fiance recently received a p/c from a woman in AZ who states that she has his 13 y/o daughter. He took no action and was served with a summons to appear in AZ court within 30 days. Once again, he is taking no action. My question is - we purchased a house together 2.5 yrs ago and I'm concerned that if he continues to do nothing my house could be in jeopardy. Would having him sign a Quitclaim Deed over to me keep her side from coming after my house in anyway?

This is a complicated situation. You need a complete legal review.

A quit claim would not help you here and might even complicate the situation.
