real estate contract

can i sue developer for adding covenant to contract after we signed and not informing me. i closed on house and was not aware of covenant addition. now i am stuck with some restrictions i am not happy with.

I think your question was already answered, but here goes.

I think the covenant was added to the property, not your Contract, right? The answer depends on what your contract said, first of all. Second, the covenants were probably in the title commitment you had at the closing. So my guess is it's all above board.

But to know for sure, the docs would have to be reviewed. Hopefully this answers your question. Good luck!
