can i get a home equity line of credit without my wifes signature

Not if her name is on the title of the house as well as yours. By the way, -your- name must be on the title if you want to get a home equity line of credit.

If you are the sole owner of the house probably yes, if not no.

Probably, if the house is in your name only. If in both names, probably not.
