Real estate question.
A mobile home ( no wheels ) is sitting on my property. Owner will not move it. Can he claim the land it is sitting on? If so, how much time?

There is an action in Illinois called adverse possession. If he possesses the land openly and notoiously for 7 years, that land can become his. Put a sign on his door, and send him a registered receipt return letter to remove the trailer within 15 days or you will have it removed to his property and sue him for the cost of removal. Then do it.

I sent you an answer earlier. After you send him notice, go to court and have him evicted. Then remove the trailer at his expense. Send him a five day notice, first.
