Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

Received escrow check from mortgage co with the name of my mother, my daughter's father, and myself. My child's father married someone else 24 yrs ago & haven't seen him since. Mom & I continue to pay mortgage until paid in full 11-2010 how can I get the escrow check at least the portion due mom (who died 01/02/11) and myself. That's all Im asking for.

Actually, you are asking a heck of a lot. When "child's father" went bye bye 24 years ago, I bet you didn't get a deed from him. So, now you faced with having to file an action to quiet title and a probate to boot. Good Luck!
