How do I register a deed in Bureau County Illinois?

My father gave me a quit claim deed (for $10), for an undeveloped lot in Bureau County. I will be in Illinois at the end of this month. What procedure do I have to go through to register this deed?

will need to file deed with recorder of deeds office and pay the transfer tax or declare it as exempt as a gift, probably the latter.
