Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

I rent a house in Berwyn, IL. My lease is up for renewal however the landlord failed to inform me of changes to the lease terms. After reading the lease it show that the landlord reduced the grace period from 5 days to 3 days to charge a late fee. Also, the late fee is stating they will charge $100, plus $15 per day that I am late.

Can anyone tell me if this is legal?

Even Chicago, which has one of the toughest landlord-tenant ordinances, only says the landlord has to give 60 days notice in case the landlord will not renew. I doubt Berwyn comes close but that's where to start. Otherwise renewals are whatever the parties will agree to. And who said you couldn't question the changes?
